Job Overview

A law firm seeks a junior associate to join its Real Estate Finance Practice Group in Salt Lake City, UT. The ideal candidate will have two to six years of experience in real estate finance, with a strong academic background and excellent writing and communication skills.

Duties

• Manage loan origination for large structured commercial real estate finance transactions.
• Handle mezzanine loans and preferred equity transactions.
• Oversee asset management and workout processes.
• Conduct transactions from inception through closing and post-closing.
• Engage in secondary market repurchase facility work and other exit strategies.

Requirements

• Two to six years of broad real estate finance experience.
• Experience in large law firm settings preferred.
• Ability to navigate complex subject matter effectively.
• Ambition, drive, and team-orientation to support national practice growth.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

• Active bar admission in the jurisdiction of practice.
