Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Creditor's Rights Attorney in Irving, TX. The ideal candidate will manage a significant volume of cases in creditor's rights, with a focus on mortgage foreclosure and collections. This full-time position may require travel within Mississippi for court appearances.

Duties

  • Handle a high volume of creditor's rights cases.
  • Resolve issues in discovery practice and depositions.
  • Engage in conflict resolution and appellate advocacy.
  • Appear in court and manage related travel.
  • Develop and maintain industry relationships.

Requirements

  • Member in good standing of the MS state Bar.
  • Licensed or able to obtain a license in Mississippi federal district and bankruptcy courts.
  • 5+ years of experience in mortgage foreclosure and collections.
  • Familiarity with TILA, RESPA, FDCPA, and the Bankruptcy Code preferred.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

  • Bar License in the state of MS (required).
