Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and drive litigation cases from inception to resolution, focusing on commercial disputes.
  • Engage in legal research, analysis, and the development of litigation strategies.
  • Draft and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and mediations.
  • Work closely with senior attorneys to refine case strategies and provide client consultations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient case management and address client needs.
  • Handle client communications and provide ongoing case updates, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
  • Manage multiple cases simultaneously, prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of commercial litigation experience is required.
  • Proven track record of handling complex litigation matters from start to finish.
  • Strong research, writing, and communication skills, with the ability to articulate legal arguments effectively.
  • A high degree of professionalism, with the ability to manage relationships with clients, colleagues, and external partners.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.

Required Education & Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Illinois Bar and in good standing.
