Duties

• Handle complex civil litigation matters with increasing independence.
• Develop advanced legal research abilities and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
• Learn to take and defend depositions with strategic focus.
• Represent clients in state and federal courts.
• Build strong client relationships through direct communication and case management.
• Gain comprehensive trial preparation experience.
• Develop advocacy skills in court proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations.

Requirements

• 0-2 years of civil litigation experience.
• Strong foundation in legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Interest in mastering Illinois civil procedure.
• Some experience with depositions, motion practice, and court appearances.
• Detail-oriented approach to case management.
• Team player mentality with strong collaboration skills.
• Technological proficiency and enthusiasm for AI integration.
• Illinois Bar admission in good standing.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the Illinois Bar.
