Location

Duties

  • Represent clients in family law matters including divorce, custody, support, and mediation

  • Attend court hearings, trials, and settlement conferences

  • Draft legal documents including motions, pleadings, and settlement agreements

  • Meet with clients in person and via virtual platforms

  • Negotiate with opposing counsel to achieve favorable client outcomes

  • Conduct legal research and ensure case deadlines are met

  • Collaborate with a legal team to support case strategy and execution

Requirements

  • Minimum of several years' experience practicing family law

  • Prior courtroom and trial experience required

  • Strong communication skills and ability to manage sensitive client issues

  • Background in criminal defense is a strong plus

  • Team-oriented and able to collaborate effectively with colleagues

  • Must be willing to work in-office to support a team-driven approach

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Active and in good standing with the Colorado Bar (required)
