Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Banking and Financial Services Associate in Los Angeles, CA. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in structured finance transactions and securitizations. This role is open to candidates in any office location, provided they are licensed to practice in their home jurisdiction or eligible for admission.

Duties

• Represent financial institutions, asset managers, and issuers in structured finance transactions and securitizations.
• Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents for asset-backed securities issuances and other structured finance arrangements.
• Prepare, negotiate, review, and analyze transactional legal opinions.
• Support the team throughout all phases of complex structured finance transactions.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in structured finance transactions and securitizations.
• Licensed to practice in home jurisdiction or eligible for admission.
• Strong collaborative skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed attorney in home jurisdiction.

Skills

• Experience with CLO transactions and special purpose entity matters.
• Detail-oriented and organized with a strong work ethic.
