Civil Appellate Associate Attorney

A law firm seeks a highly motivated Civil Appellate Associate Attorney to join its dynamic team. • Actively participate in oral arguments, representing clients before appellate courts.
• Stay updated on emerging legal trends and case law to strengthen appellate strategies.
• Attend training programs focused on appellate procedure and effective advocacy.
• Work closely with clients to communicate case progress and ensure their objectives are met.

Requirements:

• A demonstrated interest in civil appellate law, with a focus on high-level legal writing and analysis.
• Significant prior experience in appellate advocacy, general litigation, or comparable legal work.
• Participation in law review, moot court, or other competitive legal writing and oral advocacy programs.
• Completion of an appellate court clerkship or similar judicial experience preferred.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Strong academic performance, with graduation near the top of the class.

Certifications:

• Admission to the bar of a relevant jurisdiction and in good standing.
