Job Overview:
A prestigious, AV-rated mid-sized law firm is seeking experienced attorneys with a strong background in litigation and/or insurance coverage. Location:

  • Los Angeles, CA

Duties:

  • Handle and manage a variety of litigation and insurance defense matters.
  • Provide strategic legal advice and counsel to clients in complex insurance coverage disputes.
  • Lead cases through all phases of litigation, including discovery, motions, trials, and settlement negotiations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop case strategies and achieve favorable outcomes.
  • Build and maintain client relationships through consistent communication and high-quality service.
  • Support the growth of the firm’s practice through active involvement in case development and client outreach.

Requirements:

  • Litigation experience, particularly in insurance defense and coverage.
  • A background in insurance coverage, professional liability, employment, general liability, complex litigation, products liability and/or construction defect is a positive but not required. 
  • Strong knowledge of insurance law, liability defense, and complex litigation.
  • Ability to manage a caseload independently while working effectively within a team environment.
  • Proven experience in legal writing, including drafting motions, pleadings, and other litigation documents.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Bar in the jurisdiction(s).

Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of insurance coverage, defense strategies, and litigation processes.
  • Ability to handle a diverse range of legal issues and clients.
  • Strong legal research and analytical skills.
  • Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are a plus, but not required.
