Duties

  • Manage a caseload under senior attorney supervision.
  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and correspondence.
  • Communicate with clients, medical providers, and opposing counsel.
  • Assist in negotiating settlements and preparing for mediation, arbitration, and trial.
  • Participate in hearings and depositions as needed.
  • Collaborate on case strategy and maintain accurate case files.

Requirements

  • Ability to provide clear, practical legal advice and manage client expectations.
  • Proficiency in legal research and medical records review.
  • Effective negotiation skills for insurance claims and dispute resolution.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines.
  • Prior experience in personal injury or civil litigation preferred; trial experience is a plus.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active license or eligibility for timely admission to practice law in Washington state.
