Duties:

• Represent clients in construction litigation matters, including contract disputes, defect claims, and insurance-related actions

• Prepare and manage pleadings, discovery, depositions, and trial preparation materials

• Conduct legal research and draft substantive motions and briefs

• Attend hearings, mediations, and arbitrations in both state and federal courts

• Collaborate with senior attorneys on strategy development and case management

• Maintain effective communication with clients, consultants, and co-counsel throughout the litigation process

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of dedicated experience handling construction litigation

• Demonstrated proficiency in legal research and persuasive writing

• Prior experience with managing case files from initiation through resolution

• Capable of operating in fast-paced, deadline-driven litigation environments

• Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative legal team

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in the state of Louisiana

• Good standing with the Louisiana State Bar
