Tax Associate

Job Overview
A law firm seeks a Tax Associate in Jefferson City, MO. The ideal candidate will have at least four years of experience in complex federal transactional tax matters, including business entity formations, mergers, acquisitions, and reorganizations. Experience with state and local tax matters is preferred.

Duties

• Advise clients on federal transactional tax matters.

Requirements

• Minimum of four years of relevant tax experience preferred.
• Active bar license in the corresponding state or commitment to obtain one.
• Experience with non-profit and for-profit clients.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

• Active bar membership in good standing.
