Trust and Estate Litigation Associate

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid to senior level associate to support its Trust and Estate Litigation practice group in Los Angeles, CA. The group represents individual, professional, and corporate fiduciaries and beneficiaries in contested Trust and Estate matters.

Duties

• Assist with all aspects of litigation, including drafting petitions and discovery.
• Conduct depositions and make court appearances.
• Participate in trial proceedings.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in trust, estate, conservatorship, guardianship, and elder abuse litigation.
• Experience handling probate and trust litigation in Oregon and California probate courts.
• Licensed to practice in Oregon; California bar admission strongly preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Bar admission in Oregon (required).
• California bar admission (preferred).

Skills

• Strong litigation and drafting skills.
• Excellent communication and analytical abilities.
