Corporate, M&A, and Securities Senior Associate

Job Overview
A law firm seeks a senior-level associate to join its Corporate M&A and Securities Practice in Tampa, FL. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in M&A and private equity transactions, with a strong understanding of acquisition agreements and related documentation.

Duties

• Draft and negotiate acquisition agreements and related documents.
• Support private equity sponsors and portfolio companies throughout the investment lifecycle.
• Manage internal and external client relationships effectively.
• Collaborate on middle-market deal structures.

Requirements

• 5 to 7 years of relevant experience.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in the jurisdiction of the hiring office.
• Reside in the designated jurisdiction at or prior to the time of hire.
• Work in the office at least three business days per week.

Education

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.

Skills

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• High degree of maturity and business sense.
• Proficiency in drafting and negotiating legal documents.
