Location

Duties

  • Draft and prepare legal documents for court filings and client correspondence

  • Draft pleadings, motions, judgments, and orders

  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel

  • Interview and prepare witnesses for testimony

  • Manage all aspects of assigned cases from inception through resolution

  • Appear in court for hearings, trials, and conferences

  • Conduct legal research and apply findings to client matters

  • Perform administrative functions related to case management

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation for all assigned matters

Requirements

  • Litigation or family law experience (senior associate title available for those with 5+ years)

  • Experience in Missouri family law preferred but not required

  • Ability to independently manage a caseload

  • Strong commitment to client service and ethical practice

  • Willingness to participate in trial work and active litigation

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in the State of Missouri (active and in good standing)

Skills

  • Strong legal writing and oral advocacy skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a legal team
