A law firm seeks a motivated and dynamic Cyber and Data Privacy Attorney to join its national and international practice in Houston, TX. The team provides litigation defense and breach response services, collaborating globally across 25 jurisdictions.

Duties

  • Provide litigation defense for cyber insurers and major corporates.
  • Engage in 24/7/365 breach response services.
  • Collaborate with global teams on cyber matters.
  • Draft reports, pleadings, and motions.
  • Participate in mediations and trials.

Requirements

  • Admitted and in good standing in the respective state.
  • 3-6 years of federal litigation experience or 2-6 years of incident response work.
  • Experience in crisis management and regulatory issues.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • State Bar admission.

Skills

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Proficiency in legal research and writing.
