Litigation Associate Attorney

Southfield office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks litigation associate attorney with 5+ years of experience to assist and handle general and complex litigation matters in the areas of real estate, shareholder/member disputes, employment, probate, and corporate/business matters. The candidate will draft pleadings and research memoranda, handle depositions and court hearings, interact with firm clients, opposing counsel, and court staff, develop file background, and assist with strategy formulation.

The candidate should have excellent research, writing, and presentation skills.

Over 50 years old, this small Michigan firm services clients in Detroit and southeast Michigan. Primary practice areas include real estate, tax, corporate and business transactions, litigation, technology, labor and employment, trusts and estates and insurance defense. The firm houses a wide variety of professionals and is not stuffy when it comes to academic credentials. If you have good academics, previous work experience, are collegial and have good communication skills, this firm will take a look at you. The firm is interested primarily in hiring people who fit well within existing practice group structures and work well with staff.
