Estate Planning Attorney

Job Overview

A law firm seeks an attorney with expertise in high-net-worth estate planning to join its Indian Wells, California office. The candidate should have six to fifteen years of experience in estate planning, with a focus on complex matters for high-net-worth individuals. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside a senior attorney and manage a diverse client base.

Duties

• Draft revocable and irrevocable trusts with generation-skipping transfer tax provisions.
• Advise on ILITs, CRTs, and FLPs.
• Provide guidance on Federal tax laws.
• Engage in probate and trust administration.
• Assist with business succession planning and formation of business entities.
• Collaborate with clients' CPAs and other advisors.

Requirements

• Admitted to the California Bar.
• Six to fifteen years of estate planning experience.
• Knowledge of Federal and California tax laws.
• Experience with high-net-worth clients.

Education

• LLM in Tax preferred.

Certifications

• Admitted to CA Bar.
