Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Foreclosure Attorney in Coral Springs, Florida. Duties

  • Manage high-volume statewide foreclosure matters.
  • Ensure timely actions to expedite files.
  • Act as a liaison with clients, vendors, and legal personnel.
  • Manage files according to foreclosure rules and timelines.
  • Utilize case management systems for reports.
  • Review and execute pleadings and correspondence.
  • Maintain updates in management systems.
  • Prepare and present legal documents.
  • Argue cases at hearings and trials.
  • Conduct public auctions as needed.
  • Review title searches for issues and parties to serve.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in good standing with the State Bar.
  • Minimum of 3 years of legal experience in finance or real estate.
  • Experience in real estate, mortgage, or commercial litigation preferred.
  • Knowledge of FDCPA, RESPA, TILA, and related laws is a plus.
  • Willingness to learn foreclosure and real estate law if inexperienced.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • Detail-oriented with effective task management skills.
  • Proficiency in legal research and document drafting.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Commitment to ethical standards and client confidentiality.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
