Litigation Consumer Finance Attorney

Job Overview

A law firm seeks an attorney with a minimum of 3 years of consumer finance litigation experience to join their team in Boston, MA. This non-partnership track position requires expertise in commercial foreclosure matters and familiarity with Massachusetts state and federal consumer protection laws and courts.

Duties

• Handle commercial foreclosure matters and complex commercial litigation.
• Represent creditors in disputes under state and federal consumer protection laws.
• Defend claims under TILA, RESPA, FCRA, and FDCPA.
• Draft and argue pleadings and motions.
• Collaborate with a team of industry experts.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of solid commercial litigation experience.
• Strong writing and drafting skills.
• Excellent verbal communication and advocacy skills.
• Proficiency in legal research and client service.
• Massachusetts bar admission in good standing; dual admission in Connecticut is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the Massachusetts Bar.
