Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Litigation Attorney to join its Honolulu, Hawaii office. The role involves managing cases with a focus on residential real estate litigation, mortgage, and transactional matters, with an emphasis on judicial foreclosure actions.

Duties

  • Manage cases from inception to completion.
  • Prepare case analyses and advise clients on strategies.
  • Draft court pleadings and defend motions.
  • Attend court hearings, both telephonic and in person.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
  • One year of experience in law practice, preferably in litigation, real estate, or mortgage law.
  • Admission to practice law in the state of Hawaii.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret client systems.
  • Proficiency in software tools including Word, Excel, Outlook, and the Internet.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize large caseloads.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree.
