Corporate M&A Associate Attorney

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Corporate M&A Associate Attorney with three to five years of experience to join its Corporate Finance Division in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate will possess strong academic credentials and demonstrate excellent writing, analytical, organizational, leadership, and communication skills.

Duties

• Lead or manage mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, and leveraged buyout transactions.
• Contribute to capital markets transactions.
• Advise on corporate governance matters and venture capital investment transactions.
• Assist with private offerings of equity and/or debt securities.
• Provide guidance on Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K filings and proxy statements.
• Collaborate with teams on dynamic, fast-paced transactions for national clients.

Requirements

• Active attorney license in Arizona or applicable jurisdiction.
• Three to five years of relevant experience in corporate law.
• Strong writing, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Leadership and communication abilities.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Arizona or applicable jurisdiction.

Skills

• Experience in mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions.
• Knowledge of corporate governance and capital markets.
• Proficiency in legal documentation and filings.
