Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Mid-Level Corporate and Private Equity Associate to join its team in Chicago. The successful candidate will support a dynamic practice focused on private equity transactions, including leveraged buy-outs, rollups, and acquisitions of distressed companies.

Duties

• Lead mergers and acquisitions transactions from inception to completion.
• Draft and negotiate complex transactional documents.
• Collaborate with clients and colleagues to achieve strategic objectives.

Requirements

• 3-6 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions.
• Experience with private equity-led M&A transactions preferred.
• Strong academic record and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage client relationships.
• Admission to the Pennsylvania bar is required.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania.
