Job Overview:
A Houston-based law firm is seeking a driven and detail-oriented litigation associate with 3-5 years of experience to join its product liability and mass torts practice. This role involves engaging as a key contributor to complex trial teams handling high-stakes individual, class action, and multidistrict litigation on behalf of major manufacturers. Duties:

  • Participate as an essential member of trial teams managing significant tort litigation matters

  • Represent product manufacturers across a variety of industries in high-profile disputes

  • Handle cases in jurisdictions considered challenging for corporate clients

  • Conduct legal research, draft motions and briefs, and prepare for depositions and court appearances

  • Support the strategic development of litigation cases from inception through resolution

  • Work collaboratively with senior attorneys and internal teams to deliver excellent legal service

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in tort litigation (e.g., mass torts, product liability, toxic or environmental torts)

  • Prior experience working at a large or well-regarded litigation firm

  • TX Bar admission required

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

  • Strong academic credentials

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the State Bar of Texas

Skills:
