Job Overview

A law firm seeks a junior associate with 3-6 years of patent prosecution experience to join their Intellectual Property Department in Boston, Massachusetts. Duties

• Prepare and prosecute patent applications in molecular biology, immunology, immuno-oncology, genetics, and agricultural biotechnology.
• Collaborate closely with partners on patent strategy, drafting, prosecution, and diligence matters.
• Engage in immediate client contact to develop professional relationships.

Requirements

• 3-6 years of patent prosecution experience.
• Experience as a patent agent or technology specialist.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Education

• Degree in a relevant scientific field preferred.

Certifications

• Registered Patent Agent preferred.
