Job Overview

Multiple leading law firms across the United States — including Am Law firms, full-service practices, and corporate boutiques — are actively seeking Corporate Generalist Attorneys with 1–10+ years of experience.
Corporate practices continue to grow, and firms need versatile transactional attorneys who can support a wide range of business matters and client needs.

If you have experience in broad corporate or transactional work, including:

  • General commercial contracts and negotiations

  • M&A support and corporate governance

  • Entity formation and corporate maintenance

  • Joint ventures, licensing, and strategic transactions

  • Crossover work in employment, real estate, or finance

  • Serving as outside general counsel to growing businesses

Duties

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements.

  • Support M&A deals through due diligence, drafting, and closing activities.

  • Advise on entity formation, corporate governance, and ongoing corporate compliance.

  • Assist with joint ventures, licensing, and other strategic transactions.

  • Handle general corporate needs for emerging companies and established businesses.

  • Collaborate with partners and clients across multiple practice areas as needed.

Requirements

  • 1–10+ years of broad corporate transactional experience.

  • Versatility across commercial contracts, governance, or M&A support work.

  • Strong drafting, client communication, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to manage a diverse workload and shifting priorities.

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

  • Admission to the bar in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
