Job Overview

Duties

• Prepare and attend court appearances within reasonable travel distance.
• Request and manage court coverage placements as needed.
• Draft, review, and file mid-litigation motions and responses.
• Prepare for trials and arbitrations, including possible overnight travel.
• Communicate with consumers, their employers, and attorneys to resolve accounts and suits.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in Missouri; additional state licenses are welcomed.
• Ability to appear in court consistently and punctually using personal transportation.
• Willingness to travel, with reimbursement for approved expenses.
• Strong multi-tasking, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Missouri.
