Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Intellectual Property Attorney with at least four years of trademark and/or patent experience to join its growing practice in Indianapolis, IN, or Austin, TX. The ideal candidate will have expertise in patent prosecution, trademark prosecution, and intellectual property litigation.

Duties

• Engage in patent prosecution and trademark prosecution.
• Participate in intellectual property litigation.
• Develop and manage a personal book of business.
• Collaborate on projects for existing clients.
• Provide high-quality work and timely client responses.

Requirements

• Minimum of four years of experience in intellectual property law.
• Proven track record in the intellectual property space.
• Excellent interpersonal and client interfacing skills.
• Licensed and in good standing in at least one U.S. state.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Bar admission in at least one U.S. state.

Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
