Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Case Development Intake Attorney in San Antonio, TX. The role involves managing a docket of approximately 50 cases, investigating and preserving evidence, and developing medical and triage assigned cases. The attorney will handle property damage claims, communicate with clients and adjusters, and prepare monthly status reports.

Duties

  • Investigate and develop commercial cases.
  • Accept and evaluate incoming calls from potential new clients.
  • Secure authorization to sign up, decline, or further evaluate claims.
  • Explain attorney-client contracts and sign up cases.
  • Prepare and submit reviews on cases to assist in evaluating cases.
  • Manage clients during the case development intake process.
  • Prepare and document demands and act as liaison between management and adverse adjusters.
  • Ensure compliance with ethical and legal obligations.
  • Maximize case values and attorney fees recovered.

Requirements

  • Licensed in Texas and in good standing.
  • 0-3 years of personal injury experience.
  • Strong commitment to client service.
  • Excellent writing skills.
  • Previous customer service/sales experience preferred.
  • Valid TX driver license and good driving record.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD)

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in Texas

Skills

  • Strong initiative and leadership skills.
  • Detail-oriented with effective communication and delegation abilities.
  • High energy and motivational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, manage time, and prioritize work.
  • Bilingual (Spanish a plus).
