Lead Trial Lawyer

Job Overview
A law firm seeks a Lead Trial Lawyer in Austin, Texas (Hybrid). This role offers the opportunity to handle a small docket of personal injury cases, providing high-level service and professional growth in a collaborative environment.

Duties

• Handle personal injury cases from intake through verdict.
• Draft and respond to motions with a strong grasp of legal principles.
• Build strong client relationships and provide exceptional service.
• Develop persuasive legal strategies using TRCP and Rules of Evidence.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience.
• At least 1 year of personal injury litigation experience preferred.
• Jury trial experience required.
• Licensed and in good standing with the Texas, Arizona, Colorado, or New Mexico State Bar.
• Strong experience in drafting and responding to motions.
• Demonstrated ability to work with clients.
• Knowledge of TRCP and Rules of Evidence.
• Ambition, passion, and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to receive feedback and criticism.
• Excellent organizational skills and a positive attitude.
• Experience taking and defending depositions.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Texas, Arizona, Colorado, or New Mexico.
