Job Overview

A law firm seeks a motivated Family Law Attorney in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in family law and a passion for client advocacy. They will work closely with senior attorneys to manage a diverse caseload, provide legal analysis, and represent clients in various legal proceedings.

Duties

• Conduct legal research, analysis, and case preparation in family law.
• Assist in case management, including drafting legal documents.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and mediations.
• Attend client meetings and court appearances as required.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff for effective case management.
• Stay informed about changes in relevant laws and legal trends.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar of Texas or eligibility for admission.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in family law.
• Experience in immigration and personal injury is a plus.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in Spanish or other languages is a plus.

Education
