Job Overview

A law firm seeks an associate attorney to join its real estate practice group in Salt Lake City. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial real estate and land use planning, focusing on acquisition, disposition, development, management, and leasing of various property types.

Duties

  • Handle transactions related to residential, agricultural, commercial, and industrial properties.
  • Advise clients on land use planning and zoning issues.
  • Draft and negotiate real estate contracts and agreements.
  • Collaborate with clients and team members to achieve desired outcomes.

Requirements

  • Four to seven years of law firm experience in commercial real estate.
  • Strong academic credentials and commitment to ethics.
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively.
  • Membership in the Utah Bar or willingness to obtain it.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active membership in the Utah Bar or eligibility to join.
