Spanish-Speaking Immigration Attorney

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Spanish-speaking Immigration Attorney in Lynnwood, WA. This full-time position involves managing a caseload and collaborating with a legal team to represent clients in various immigration matters. The role offers autonomy and opportunities for professional growth.

Duties

• Conduct consultations with prospective clients.
• Represent clients before USCIS, EOIR, and other immigration agencies.
• Prepare and review immigration applications, petitions, and legal documents.
• Develop legal strategies for complex immigration cases.
• Supervise and collaborate with paralegals and legal assistants.
• Maintain regular communication with clients regarding case progress.
• Attend hearings, interviews, and other immigration proceedings.
• Maintain accurate case notes and billing records.
• Build strong client relationships through excellent communication and service.
• Participate in firm meetings and continuing legal education.

Requirements

• Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Excellent spoken and written Spanish and English.
• Immigration law experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with USCIS, U.S. State Department, and/or Immigration Court matters preferred.
• Excellent legal writing and analytical skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Comfortable managing multiple deadlines simultaneously.
• Professional, dependable, and self-motivated.
• A genuine respect for immigrants from all backgrounds.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
