Job Overview

A law firm seeks a finance associate to join its Business Restructuring and Reorganization team in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will have experience in liability management transactions, DIP financings, bankruptcy exit financings, and special situations financings.

Duties

  • Represent creditors or borrowers in complex financial transactions.
  • Engage in high-profile capital structure representations.
  • Work with hedge funds, CLOs, private equity funds, and financial institutions.
  • Participate in both chapter 11 cases and out-of-court restructurings.

Requirements

  • Law school class years 2019 through 2023.
  • Significant experience in relevant financial transactions.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • Bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
