A leading and long-established personal injury law firm in Virginia is seeking a full-time Personal Injury Attorney to join its Richmond-area office. This opportunity is ideal for attorneys with 1–3 years of experience in personal injury litigation who are eager to develop within a supportive and collaborative environment. The role involves client advocacy, litigation support, and legal strategy development for a wide range of personal injury matters.

Location

  • Henrico, Virginia

Duties

  • Represent clients in personal injury cases from intake through resolution or trial

  • Prepare legal documents including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests

  • Participate in negotiations and settlement discussions

  • Advocate for clients in court proceedings as necessary

  • Communicate regularly with clients, maintaining a high level of responsiveness and empathy

  • Collaborate with colleagues and support staff on case development

  • Utilize legal technology and case management software to track and manage files

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of litigation experience, preferably in personal injury law

  • Strong communication skills and ability to connect with clients

  • Comfort using legal case management software

  • Ability to work both independently and within a team environment

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Active license to practice law in the Commonwealth of Virginia (required)
