Corporate Debt Finance Associate

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Corporate Debt Finance Associate with 3 to 4 years of experience to join the Corporate Finance and Lending team within the Corporate Practice Group. The preferred location for this position is Miami or Atlanta, though candidates may be based in any office within the Eastern Time Zone.

Duties

• Negotiate, structure, and document complex financing transactions.
• Represent private equity sponsors, portfolio companies, and/or lenders.
• Work on leveraged buyouts, acquisition financings, and related transactions.
• Collaborate with deal teams on sophisticated corporate finance matters.

Requirements

• 3 to 4 years of experience in debt finance transactions.
• Outstanding academic record.
• Excellent writing and analytical skills.
• Member of the Florida or Georgia Bar, or ability to obtain admission promptly.

Education

• JD from an ABA accredited law school.

Certifications

• Bar membership in Florida or Georgia, as applicable.

Skills

• Strong negotiation and structuring abilities.
• Proficiency in documenting complex transactions.
• Ability to work collaboratively with deal teams.
