A law firm in Wellesley is seeking a Trust and Estates Attorney to join its team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing and revising client estate plans to ensure compliance with state and federal tax laws. The role also involves the preparation and review of state and federal estate tax returns, gift tax returns, and fiduciary income tax returns. The candidate should have knowledge of estate planning and a willingness to learn and collaborate with other attorneys to meet clients' goals and objectives. Admittance into the Massachusetts Bar is required, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills and superior client service skills. The Trust and Estates Attorney will play a key role in ensuring the compliance of client estate plans with state and federal tax laws. The candidate will also be responsible for the preparation and review of various tax returns related to estates and gifts. The position requires a strong understanding of estate planning, a commitment to continuous learning, and effective collaboration with colleagues to meet clients' goals.

 

Duties:

  • Review and revise client estate plans to ensure compliance with state and federal tax laws.
  • Prepare and review state and federal estate tax returns, gift tax returns, and fiduciary income tax returns.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of estate planning and a willingness to learn and collaborate with other attorneys to achieve client goals and objectives.

 

Requirements:

Admittance into the Massachusetts Bar.

 

Education and Certifications:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.
