Sales Attorney

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Sales Attorney in Fairfax, VA, to engage with potential clients and provide legal counsel across family, civil, and criminal matters. This role combines legal expertise with sales acumen to support a diverse clientele.

Duties

• Engage in potential client sales calls for 35+ hours weekly, including some nights and weekends.
• Secure an average of 25-30 new matters monthly.
• Provide sound legal advice with professional salesmanship.
• Sell firm services with a high level of customer service.
• Follow up with potential clients to book business or answer questions.
• Manage new client data input into the CMS.
• Attend weekly sales team meetings to report on sales target progress.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in Virginia; additional state bars are a plus.
• Experience selling professional services in a B2C environment.
• Preferred experience in litigating domestic and civil cases.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Superior work ethic and desire to build a legal career.
• Organized with the ability to manage time and multitask.
• Knowledgeable in family law areas; willingness to grow expertise.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Bar admission in Virginia.
