A law firm seeks a Junior Renewable Energy Transactions Associate Attorney to join its Phoenix, AZ office. The successful candidate will work within the Energy, Environmental, Mining, and Transportation Division, focusing on renewable energy projects. This role offers the opportunity to engage in a diverse range of transactional work, including project development, commercial agreements, and financing.

Duties

  • Collaborate with attorneys on renewable energy projects.
  • Engage in project development and transactional practice areas.
  • Negotiate, draft, and close commercial agreements.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in energy transactions or related fields.
  • Exposure to mergers and acquisitions, financing, or real estate preferred.
  • Familiarity with tax credit matters is a plus.
  • Licensed to practice in or eligible for admission in Arizona.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admission to the Arizona State Bar or eligibility for admission without examination.

Skills

  • Strong writing, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities.
