Here is a great satellite office of one of the more powerful California firms. This firm has long had the reputation for being a liberal firm and also does a great deal of pro bono type work. This is not a firm where your pro bono commitment will be an issue if you have one--these guys love it. Very relaxed dress code in this office. This firm also has a real strong record of having a lot of politicians emerge out of its offices. This firm pays market and also has a lot of positive things it does to compensate its associates over and above simply paying them great salaries. The staff at this firm is among the best of any firm we have ever encountered and the associates have a lot of really positive things to say about the staff and its commitment to its work. Move up to an extraordinary, full-service law firm with a booming book of international, corporate business. Not too bad of a billable hour commitment is required out of its associates.
