Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Litigation Attorney in Chicago, IL. The firm represents clients on a range of Internet and data-related legal issues, including privacy and cybersecurity. Duties

• Develop and implement case strategy, advising clients accordingly.
• Draft substantive memoranda, including motions and appellate briefs.
• Manage offensive and defensive discovery efforts independently.
• Collaborate with experts and manage document productions.

Requirements

• Minimum of four years of commercial litigation experience.
• Experience in defending clients in class action litigation preferred.
• Familiarity with federal and state privacy laws is advantageous.
• Ability to manage projects and interact with clients independently.
• Strong writing and communication skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

• Admission to the bar in the jurisdiction of employment.
