Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Foreclosure Attorney to join their team in Dayton, OH. This role offers the opportunity to work fully remotely while engaging in complex legal matters related to foreclosure. The successful candidate will collaborate with a dynamic team to provide high-quality legal services.

Duties

  • Draft and review legal documents for second-level review by the Supervising Attorney.
  • Organize case files, track legal deadlines, and coordinate with paralegals and legal assistants.
  • Shadow senior attorneys for appearances in mediation, court, and sheriff's sales.
  • Assist in preparation for legal appearances.
  • Collaborate with state team members and participate in weekly meetings.
  • Engage in one-on-one weekly meetings with the Supervising Attorney.

Requirements

  • J.D., licensed in Ohio and in good standing in all jurisdictions.
  • Ability to work in a congenial and team-oriented manner.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with adaptability to change.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in Ohio.
