Job Overview

A law firm seeks a patent agent or technical advisor to join its patents team in Denver, CO. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in 5G, Wi-Fi, and other wireless technologies, artificial intelligence, processor and memory systems, image processing, and RF front-end. This position offers location flexibility across all US offices.

Duties

  • Assist in patent prosecution and portfolio management.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop and manage patent portfolios.
  • Conduct research and analysis on technical subjects.
  • Prepare and file patent applications.

Requirements

  • Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent.
  • At least two years of patent prosecution experience.
  • Registered with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) or qualified to register.
  • Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.

Education

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

Certifications

  • USPTO registration or eligibility to register.

Skills

  • Experience in 5G, Wi-Fi, AI, and related technologies.
  • Client liaison and portfolio management experience.
  • Preferred experience in autonomous vehicles, robotics, and related AI fields.
