Duties

• Draft and update Franchise Disclosure Documents (FDDs).
• Prepare franchise agreements and related ancillary documents.
• Handle franchise registration and renewal filings.
• Respond to state comment letters.
• Advise clients on franchise compliance and operational issues.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in franchise law or corporate transactional practice.
• Knowledge of federal and state franchise laws and regulations.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters efficiently in a deadline-driven environment.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the state of Michigan.
