Professional Liability Attorney

Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Professional Liability Attorney with 4+ years of litigation experience to join their team in Los Angeles, CA. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated professional liability matters in a dynamic environment.

Duties

• Manage a full litigation caseload from inception through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, legal memoranda, and other litigation-related documents.
• Take and defend depositions and participate in mediations, hearings, and trials.
• Communicate directly with clients and provide regular case updates and strategic guidance.
• Handle a broad range of professional liability matters.
• Collaborate closely with attorneys across offices and practice groups on complex litigation matters.

Requirements

• JD from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
• Admission to practice in California required.
• 4+ years of litigation experience.
• Experience handling legal malpractice, accounting malpractice, and/or other professional liability matters strongly preferred.
• Exceptional writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to independently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced litigation environment.

Education

• JD from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to practice law in California.
