Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney in Dublin, OH. This role involves strategic legal advising, quality control, and expertise in immigration law, supporting the growth of a dynamic practice. The attorney will audit court filings, guide complex legal escalations, and collaborate with operations to enhance legal consistency.

Duties

  • Conduct legal research and communicate updates firmwide.
  • Provide support for complex cases, including risk management.
  • Develop and implement legal strategy and compliance initiatives.
  • Draft and review legal documents and firm policies.
  • Conduct training sessions for internal teams.
  • Ensure legal consistency and quality control in immigration law.
  • Perform additional duties as determined by the Director Attorney.

Requirements

  • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and current bar membership.
  • 5+ years of experience as an immigration attorney.
  • 3+ years of removal defense experience.
  • Preferred experience with humanitarian and family-based immigration.
  • Strong command of U.S. immigration law and federal regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, legal writing, and research skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Sound judgment and ethical decision-making.
  • Commitment to client advocacy and continuous improvement.
  • Bilingual candidates preferred; Spanish fluency strongly preferred.

Education

  • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.

  • Current bar membership in good standing.
