Job Overview

A law firm seeks a General Liability Pre-Suit Attorney in Bradenton, Florida. This role involves making critical decisions and significantly contributing to the firm's growth. The position offers flexibility, allowing candidates to work from any Tampa-area office. The attorney will positively impact clients' lives by guiding them through the justice process.

Duties

  • Handle all pre-litigation work daily.
  • Complete the Flip-to-Lit approval process.
  • Guide clients through the case process.
  • Draft and file pre-litigation documents.
  • Complete TD approval for liability issues.
  • Oversee settlement negotiations and demand package formation.
  • Manage the release approval process.
  • Lead a team of 6-10 Case Managers.
  • Focus on personal injury cases, primarily general liability.
  • Drive compliance and KPIs among the team.
  • Conduct EUOs, PIP statements, and recorded statements.

Requirements

  • Law degree from a fully accredited law school.
  • Active member in good standing with the FL State Bar Association.
  • 1+ years of personal injury experience.
  • Ability to manage a high volume of pre-lit cases.
  • Excellent client service and communication skills.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Self-starter driven by long-term career goals.
  • Superior writing and oral advocacy skills.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • Active membership with the Florida State Bar Association.
