Job Overview

A law firm seeks a motivated Bankruptcy Attorney to join its national practice in Tampa, FL. This role offers the opportunity to grow within a reputable firm, providing comprehensive legal services in creditor's rights and default solutions.

Duties

• Draft motions for relief from the automatic stay.
• Prepare and defend secured creditor proofs of claims.
• Defend motions to value and draft pleadings to protect creditor interests.
• Manage a substantial caseload and guide support staff.
• Ensure accurate and timely updates to the firm's systems of record.

Requirements

• Bar License in the state of FL required; multiple licenses a plus.
• Over eight years of experience in civil litigation, real estate, or equivalent fields preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work accurately and productively.
• Preferred knowledge of TILA, RESPA, and FDCPA.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.
