Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Insurance Coverage Attorney to join its team in San Francisco, CA. The successful candidate will support national and international coverage practices, advising and representing insurance companies in various coverage matters and disputes.

Duties

  • Advise insurance companies on coverage matters.
  • Represent clients in coverage disputes.
  • Analyze coverage issues and draft opinions.
  • Prepare pleadings and dispositive motions.
  • Conduct discovery in insurance coverage litigation.
  • Take and defend depositions.
  • Attend court conferences and argue motions.

Requirements

  • Four to six years of insurance coverage experience.
  • Experience in drafting coverage opinions and legal documents.
  • Proficiency in conducting discovery and depositions.
  • Strong litigation skills.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • Bar admission in California.

Skills

  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation and advocacy abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
