Construction Litigation Attorney

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Construction Litigation Attorney in Bonita Springs, FL. The successful candidate will provide legal services to clients involved in construction-related disputes, including defect claims and contractual issues. This role requires a proactive approach to litigation and client communication.

Duties

• Provide legal counsel to contractors, design professionals, and developers.
• Handle disputes involving defect claims, torts, and contractual issues.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Draft and argue dispositive motions.
• Attend site inspections, hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Conduct legal research and analyze case law.
• Prepare pleadings and correspondence.
• Communicate with clients, expert witnesses, and opposing counsel.

Requirements

• Licensed member of the Florida Bar.
• Minimum of 1 year of civil litigation experience, preferably in construction litigation.
• Excellent communication and writing skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Florida Bar membership.
