A law firm seeks a litigation attorney with six to twelve years of experience in all aspects of commercial litigation for their Grand Rapids, MI office. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to high-quality legal work, superior client service, and a strong work ethic. They will collaborate with a team of attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to represent clients such as automotive suppliers, financial institutions, and insurance companies.

Duties

• Manage litigation matters of varying sizes, including large-scale litigation.
• Analyze case materials to identify legal issues and potential strategies.
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, and responses.
• Prepare for depositions, case evaluations, arbitrations, mediations, and trials.
• Perform legal research.

Requirements

• Admission to the Michigan Bar.
• Outstanding professional and academic credentials.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Michigan.
